Hello 2018 *a little late* January 31 2018

It's the 31st of January and I meant to write this post on the 1st.  I'm looking over a list I made of things to do this month.  While I got some of it accomplished, much of was untouched.  And you know what?  I'm ok with that.  The holiday season takes a lot out of us.  There are so many demands, social obligations, work, family, expenses and not to mention the sheer sensory overload of it all.  Feeling completely DRAINED come January 1st is totally normal.  

Though quite tired, this 1st month of 2018 was also a big month here at OM Soul.  It was maybe the best month EVER plus, I released many new colors, styles, fabrics and designs.  When I wasn't working, instead of reading all the books I planned, taking new fitness classes I promised and writing every day in my fancy new journal, I RELAXED.  I watched my favorite shows.  I cooked meals for my family.  I took a long bath.  And I made sure I felt GOOD about that decision.  About not getting my "New Year's To-Do List" done.  Because there are still 11 perfectly good months ahead.  And after taking care of myself (mind, body and soul), I am ready to take on 2018 and all those BIG intentions I set at midnight this past New Year's Eve.

One thing I learned this month was to take care of me.  So next month, we'll be celebrating the theme of self-care and self-love.  So many wonderful things to come in February including our 2nd ever Yoga Challenge.  There are INCREDIBLE sponsors lined up and the amazing army of OM Soul Ambassadors will be leading us through it!  I don't know how I got so lucky in finding the best team!  I hope you will join us for the fun February 17-23rd.  In the meantime, take care of you.  

We have a big year ahead.
